For 23 years, I’ve worked hard to build lasting relationships based on trust, professionalism, and integrity. Clients place their confidence in Ascend Planning & Consulting to help them take care of what’s important: their loved ones and the legacy of their values.
Here are the three values most important to me professionally and personally:
Long-Term Growth. For me as a runner, the commitment needed to train for a race carries over to my work for our clients. I measure success not by an 18-week training cycle but over a lifetime, through different race conditions and age brackets. I think financial success should be measured similarly.
Continuous Learning. Nothing stays static and neither do I. The credentials after my name are derived from a drive to continue updating my skills so I can provide the best advice to our clients. And as a CFP® professional, I adhere to the fiduciary standard of care, which means your interests always come first.
Giving Back. I believe in giving back to the community that I call home. In my case it’s the “Little City” of Falls Church, Virginia. I’ve joined neighbors to fill grocery bags for families experiencing food insecurity. And it’s motivated me to rappel down a 14-story hotel to raise money for a local homeless-service nonprofit.
